“Sometimes the strength of motherhood is greater than natural laws.”- Barbara Kingsolve
It is March again, and it is time to celebrate the amazing women around us. Our history is full of women who made change possible with just determination and vigor. This Women’s History Month, Sheltering Grace requests that you take a look at these brilliant women who despite their race, roles, or social status, came forward and transformed into empowered citizens and change agents.
We also encourage you to celebrate the biggest heroes around us, women who are perhaps the strongest when it comes to everything in life – MOTHERS.
At Sheltering Grace, we aim to transform the life of homeless expectant mothers from being destitute to being self-sufficient. We are not only looking at averting a crisis situation where the homeless pregnant women and their unborn are at risk, but also at a bright future where they can be molded into responsible citizens and heads of households. We want these women to be proud and capable mothers who can secure the lives of their kids as we provide life skills training and suitable educational support to reach this aim.
If you believe in empowering women who have made hard choices to do right by their children, help us help these women who have decided to give their unborn a life and bright future.
You can help them by joining our #Be1of5000 brigade which supports these mothers with a very small contribution and a lot of love from your end. We also encourage our kind patrons to help these women in their educational initiatives by donating to support the education of single moms who are a part of our program. We thank you for all the love and support you have given us.
Don’t forget to share this with your friends and loved ones.
Sheltering Grace Ministry, Ltd. is a 501(c)3 Ltd. non-profit ministry. We resolve the initial crisis of homelessness by providing a safe place to live during pregnancy and by providing mothers with the tools they need to improve decision-making, to enhance employment options, and increase family income, to act responsibly as the head of their household, and to develop the self-reliance to progress to permanent independent living. Please join us in renewing and rebuilding the lives of these brave women – #Be1of5000.
